Beach Volleyball World Tour Recap: A year to remember
The year of 2012 has seen many achievements for our beach volleyball FIVB Heroes, including a seventh World Tour title for the Brazilian stars Juliana and Larissa and many individual awards.

At this year’s last beach stop, FIVB Heroes Todd Rogers and Phil Dalhausser won bronze at the Mazury Orlen Grand Slam in Stare Jablonki, Poland.

After the Olympic Games, the beach volleyball FIVB Heroes return to normal at the Mazury Orlen Grand Slam in Stare Jabłonki, Poland. However, since several men’s teams decided to take a break after London 2012, only two FIVB Heroes teams are left to play at this week’s tour stop.

The biggest beach volleyball match in four years took place in front of a packed venue of 15,000 spectators in the beautiful grounds of a floodlit Horse Guards Parade: Alison Cerutti and Emanuel Rego faced Julius Brink and Jonas Reckermann for Olympic Gold.
