WORLD LEAGUE 2013: MORE TEAMS AND MANY HEROES!
Lately, the FIVB announced the new World League formula for 2013. Due to the expansion to 18 teams and a Final 8, more FIVB Heroes will compete at the highest international level.

World League Finals: Poland Wins Historic Gold Medal!
The World League Finals came to an end after an incredible weekend that saw FIVB Heroes Bartosz Kurek and Zbigniew Bartman claim Poland’s first-ever title in the competition. 2008′s champions the USA with FIVB Hero Clayton Stanley had to make do with silver this time while Cuba’s Wilfredo León completed the podium in third place.

Cuba having irrevocably secured its position at the top of Pool A after three weekends in the World League 2012, coaches took their last chances to practice and hone their tactics for the upcoming Olympic Games. Our FIVB Heroes did the same, hoping to prove to their fans and themselves that they’re ready for further victories.
