CEV Champions League: FIVB Heroes Rule the Pools

The defending champions Zenit Kazan have already qualified for the last 16 in Pool A. Maxim Mikhailov scored 11 points to lead his team to a decisive 3-0 (25-23, 25-21, 25-17) victory over Roeselare, which gives Kazan an eight-point lead on the third-placed team with not a single set lost so far.

FIVB and United Nations intensifying their partnership with grassroots project

September 21, Anaheim, California, USA – On the occasion of the 33rd FIVB World Congress held in Anaheim, California from 19-21 September, FIVB outgoing President Mr Jizhong Wei and Mr Wilfried Lemke, Special Adviser to the UN Secretary General on Sport for Development and Peace, agreed to further intensify the cooperation between their organisations in promoting shared values, raising awareness of the UN’s objectives (in particular the UN Millennium Development Goals) and implementing joint projects.
